Objects and items over time become worn, damaged, out of date and unloved. But at our studio its about finding those items that have managed to avoid end up in landfill and giving them a new life as a art work while still retaining their original concept at the same time.
At our studio we love to upcycle, repurpose, practice Wabi- Sabi - Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese aesthetic philosophy that finds beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and incompletion.
