Hand Painted X-ray Skeleton With Flowers on a Vintage Leather Motorbike Jacket. Weeds or Wishes This is a refurbished vintage leather motorbike jacket. I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could paint an X-ray image in Angelus Paints on the back of this jacket. I also painted dandelions, this was because I remember hearing a quote about how you can look at a field of dandelions and see a field of weeds or a field of wishes. In the UK children are encouraged to blow on dandelion clocks and make a wish, so the quote is challenging your perspective on how you see the world.
Condition and size The jacket has no makers name just the fact its Auckland Leather and dates possible from 1980s to the 2000's The jacket has been cleaned and a coat of leather food applied to bring back the suppleness . There have been a few minor repairs to the belt and the collar studs, but are in keeping with the jackets age. There is also one tooth missing from one of the side pockets but the zip still works correctly.
