Echo Mines Studio creates one of a kind bespoke art works by finding the beauty in the damage found on reclaimed materials.
This is 1950'/60s medical hand book for Doctors and Nurses to show how procedures should be done. It was a combination of graphic photographs and illustrations. I chose the latter to use for this carving. The book is sealed and has a Perspex front to keep it dust free. It is a free standing sculpture but it can be adapted for a wall hanging done on request with no extra charge.
The Carving is a free standing carving for shelves, mantels, table tops etc.
