Echo Mines Studio creates one of a kind bespoke art works by finding the beauty in the damage found on reclaimed materials.
This book has been decorated with the golden snitch that appears in later books when Harry is trying to find and destroy the Horcruxes. The quote "I open at the close" is inscribed into the Golden Snitch and is where Dumbledor hides the resurrection stone. The fore edge has a combination of hand painted letters, gold gild paint and gold foil to give the impression that the snitch is worn.
The book is fully readable and the image has been sealed and waxed to help stop any pages sticking together. This piece was created on a vintage Harry Potter book, First Edition Copy. So there will be minor condition issues. The book is shown without the dust cover, but the dust cover will be send with this copy for you to choose if you wish to use it or not.
