This is called Alice in the Pink! This one was a old medical book which had a purple fabric cover that was so dirty it looked brown and was hanging off. But when the fabric was pulled back the book looks pink. The book has been cleaned and all the damage and wear has been given a Kintsugi look. Using illustrations from various Alice in Wonderland books I have lying about I created a new combined book carving. The book has a plexiglass front to keep it dust free. All photos apart from the one with the bookshelf is the book without the plexiglass, this is because its makes the photos clearer. The bookshelf photo has plexiglass.
