This is the second Magner's Horse and Stock altered book I have created. The first was approx. 5 yrs ago. This book dates from 1901 and is full of information for farmers and horse breeders on training and ailments that can affect animals and is full of illustrations. The book is a double sided carve so the book can be displayed either way or up on a fireplace with a mirror so both sides can be seen. The book was missing its spine, so I took the pieces of paper that had been used as book marks and gave the book a new spine. The book is completely sealed and is now a free standing carving to be displayed in various rooms or offices.
